#2AsBetterThanOne
In 2021, two players found each other in the virtual battlegrounds of Valorant.
Match found. Neither of them knew it was the most important one they'd ever play.
What started as a simple match quickly turned into late-night conversations, shared strategies, and laughter over victories and defeats.
As they teamed up, a bond formed that transcended game, filled with support and understanding.
Their love story blossomed, proving that sometimes, the best connections are made in the most unexpected places.
From a duo queue to a duo for life.
April 2025
April 2025, a quiet evening in Tagaytay, beneath a sky full of stars.
Alex had a plan. First, a proposal at their favorite Japanese restaurant…
…but Aileen, completely unaware of what was coming, insisted they leave.
Plan B: a cozy café.
Unfortunately, it was a little too cozy, with too many people around.
Knowing Aileen would rather have the moment to themselves, Alex decided the best place was right where they were — inside the car, overlooking Taal. No grand setup, no audience, just the two of them and a question that would change everything.
Turns out, the best proposal wasn't the one Alex planned. It was the one that felt most like them.

Truly. Having you there (and on the dance floor) is everything. If you'd like to bless our new home, a monetary gift would mean the world.

Tagaytay is about 60 km south of Metro Manila. Plan for 1½ to 2½ hours on a Friday, so leave by lunch.
Parking: there's parking at both the church and Hillbarn. Come a little early so you have time to park before the ceremony.
Going home: buses and rides get fewer at night. Plan your trip back (or a room nearby) before the party starts.
Four places close to Hillbarn, if you'd like to stay the night. Prices are indicative and change with the room and date.
Semi-formal to formal, in our motif colours: antique mauve, dusty rose, blush pink, sage green, earthy olive green, deep forest olive, champagne gold, warm taupe and deep espresso brown.
Smart semi-formal attire in complementary colors or neutrals. Dress shirts, tailored trousers, and dress shoes are encouraged. A coordinating tie or pocket square is a lovely touch.
Midi or long dresses in any of our wedding palette colors. Elegant silhouettes, flowing fabrics, and subtle floral details are most welcome.
Kindly avoid wearing white, ivory, or burgundy gowns/shirts, as these colors are reserved for the couple. Please also skip T-shirts, shorts, and slippers. Tagaytay evenings can get chilly, so bringing a shawl or light blazer is a good idea.
Ninong: black coat and slacks, white long-sleeved shirt. Necktie provided by the couple.
Ninang: long formal gown in cream, champagne gold, or soft beige.
We love your little ones, but our celebration is adults-only (apart from our flower girls and ring bearer). Enjoy a night off!
Your invitation shows how many seats we've saved for you. Sadly we can't add more: the venue counts every chair.
Absolutely! We'd love for you to capture sweet memories of our special day. Feel free to take photos, but kindly be mindful not to block the view of other guests or our official photographers, especially during the processional and as we walk down the aisle. Most importantly, enjoy the moment and celebrate with us!
Parking spaces are available at both Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and Hillbarn Tagaytay. Guests may park at the designated parking areas of each venue. We recommend arriving a little early to allow enough time to park and settle in before the ceremony. Safe travels and see you there!
Tagaytay is generally cooler than nearby cities, especially in the evenings. Since our wedding is in November, expect pleasant but potentially chilly weather, with a chance of rain.
A little reminder: bring something warm so you can stay comfortable and enjoy the celebration with us! 💗
Please arrive by 2:00 PM to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony starts promptly at 3:00 PM sharp. Filipino time does not apply. See you there!
